FAQ
Check with your telephone operator to find out what type of unbundling includes your subscription. For partial unbundling you must connect your telephone to your wall telecom socket via the ADSL filter. For full unbundling, you must connect your telephone directly to your operator's BOX.
There are several reasons why the recording may be interrupted:
- The caller was speaking in a voice that was too soft, the device cut off the recording.
- The caller stopped talking for more than 5 seconds during the recording.
- The caller started talking before the beep sound.
- The answering machine memory was full during recording.
The memory of your answering machine is full or your answering machine is configured in answering machine only mode and not recording answering machine. Refer to your user manual provided with your phone to delete your messages or configure your answering machine.
The voice mail provided by your operator is active and this is triggered before the LOGICOM answering machine. Ask your operator to deactivate the voicemail provided with your subscription, or use your phone's user manual to reduce the number of rings after which your answering machine is activated.
Check with your telephone operator to see if your subscription includes the presentation of the name and number. Operators cannot display names from a mobile phone.
You must be fully unbundled to take advantage of this service, check with your operator about the features available on your BOX. This must be GAP compatible in order to work with your LOGICOM DECT phone. You must then follow the association procedure provided by your operator. CAUTION: If you decide to use your BOX as a base then the base provided with your LOGICOM DECT phone will only serve as a charging holder. If it has an answering machine, it will be disabled. The functionalities of your phone may be limited depending on the compatibility with your BOX, some functions will be unusable such as the base setting or the answering machine function. If you wish to keep all the features of your phone, we recommend that you connect the base of the phone in RJ11 to your BOX.
You must have a voice mail provided by your operator, this service allows you to have an answering machine on your telephone line. Please contact your operator for more information about this service.
Perform the following checks: - Check that the unit is properly powered (plugging in the AC adapter) - Check that the handset is properly positioned on the base or charging cradle. (a beep indicates that the handset is in the correct position) - Clean the charging contacts on the handset and base with a dry cloth - Completely empty the batteries and then reload them completely - Get new batteries from your dealer or from a battery dealer such as ORDINAPHONE If none of these solutions work, contact your dealer for service support for your product.
Check that the handset is not switched off, then check the battery charge. If none of these solutions work, please contact your reseller for service support for your product.
Perform the following checks: - The handset may be too far from the base, move closer to the base of your phone - Check that the base is not installed too close to other electronic devices (TV, radio, household appliances) - Plug the power supply into a single outlet - Check with your operator if there is no work in progress on your line. If none of these solutions work, please contact your reseller for service support for your product.
Perform the following checks: - Check the power supply and telephone cord connections. - Then check that you have not prohibited dialing in the restriction or prohibited calls function (if present on your phone) - Reset your phone (see user manual) - Check if your handset is registered on the base, "Handset" followed by a number should appear on your handset's standby screen. - Check with your operator if there is not a problem on your line. If none of these solutions work, contact your reseller for service support for your product.
A message indicating the meaning of the beep appears on the display of your handset. Two reasons can cause this beep, either you are too far from the base, get closer before the communication is automatically cut off, or your batteries are too weak, recharge them. In both cases, the corresponding message will appear on your handset display. Note: A double beep in your handset may mean that you are receiving a double call (example: Orange "call waiting") on your phone. Check with your telephone operator to see if your subscription includes the dual call function (example: Orange "call waiting").
Check that the base of your phone is properly powered (AC adapter connected). Register your handset on the corresponding base station according to the instructions in the user manual. If the problem persists, contact your dealer for service support for your product.
Backlighting is an option available only on certain models. Check the information specified on the box of your product and in your user manual. If the Backlight indication does not appear, then your phone does not have this function. If your phone has this feature, contact your reseller for service support for your product.
If you subscribe to the presentation of the name and/or number at your operator, the date and time are automatically updated when each call is received by the network.
By default, your phone displays the name of your handset (Example: "HANDSET 1"). If you want to display the date and time instead of the handset name on your screen. Refer to the user manual of your phone in the chapter "Display of the screen".
Call from a direct line (you should not call behind a server), dial using voice dialing (see user manual) and slowly type in the remote interrogation code (see user manual) and command codes (see user manual). You have 5 seconds to enter your correct query code, after which the call will be automatically disconnected.
